A new line of rugged DC-DC converters with a high 4:1 and 50 to 200W of power, was introduced by CUI Europe.
The chassis for installation are included in an aluminum enclosure measuring 4.25 x 4 x 1.5 cm and is equipped with a heat sink to improve thermal performance. VHK The series is seen as ideal for a variety of communication and industrial applications where robust is needed.
Users can choose from a range of input from 9 to 36VDC or 72VDC and 18 to output voltage of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24 or 48DC. The range of the standard operating temperature is-40C 85c, 50W with the operational model 60C under convection-cooled conditions. Security features include serial VHK most temperature, input transient and short circuit protection.
Additional features include high efficiency, fast transient response remote sense, remote on / off, says the company.
